H. Blagdon - Miranda

 

November 1970 - 1st voyage, could not join as I was ill.

22nd February 1971 (fit and well) to 4th May - Iceland

 

24th August 1971 - 7th October 1971 - Can’t remember what we did this voyage (Commander Adams)

 

15th November 1971 - 11th January 1972 - Iceland. Chief Officer Willingham volunteered his services and I was relieved 21st Feb 72. Later sent back to the vessel, however a broken crankshaft terminated the voyage and Miranda was towed to Leith & paid off 23rd March 72.

 

30th June 1972 - 7th August 1972 - Captain Marrow, Ellerman Wilson Line (EWL). Seismic Survey - Orkney, Shetland, Faeroes. National Environment Research Council & Durham University.

 

23rd August 1972 - 29th September 72 - Norway and North Cape.

 

16th November 1972 - 5th May 1973 - Iceland for full season.

 

15th December 1973 - 21st January 1974 - Iceland. Had given EWL notice to leave company and joined NSF 1st February 1974.
